On the Polish labour market there is a number of institutions that can help with issues related to seeking and taking up employment, these are, among others: Poviat Employment Offices, the Centre for Information and Career Planning, units authorised to conduct job placement (e.g. OHP, Union Labour Offices), Academic Career Offices, training companies, employers' organisations (e.g. Chambers of Commerce, Chambers of Crafts), personal advisory agencies, non-governmental organisations dealing with labour market issues and helping people looking for work (Foundations, Associations).
We can look for advertisements with job offers in the press, on the Internet, on private employment portals, directly on the websites of companies and in the European Employment Service EURES system.
You can start looking for a job while you are still abroad. However, it is worth bearing in mind that employers, after an initial acceptance of a candidate, e.g. on the basis of the CV sent, want to conduct a job interview and, despite the increasing use of instant messaging, still most often prefer face-to-face meetings.
